Meet Matthias. As a manual therapist, specialised in biomechanics, he has been fine-tuning the two-and-four legged in the equine world, and coaching riders to move in harmony with their horses.

 

From here founding Move 2 Ride was a natural progression, bringing the two elements together onto one educational platform. 

 

His passion for the movement of the body, or biomechanics in short, started in his teens.

 

It was then when he decided to embark on a long road, over six years, of studies, including CranioSacral and manual therapy, as well as deep tissue and myofascial release techniques, among others. 

 

Although it started with humans, Matthias always felt a connection to horses and therefore studied the same techniques in the equine field, and backed those up with studies in equine sciences. 

 

Over the last two decades he has solved the riddles of faulty biomechanics ridding thousands of humans and equines effectively of pain, rehabbing both to move freely again. 

 

Matthias holds a Permitted Equine Therapists (PET) license with the FEI, which allows him to treat horses at national, as well as international competitions. 

 

Thanks to his dedication, you can usually find him at one of his two bases in Belgium and Andalusia doing his hands on magic or coaching, That, if he’s not jetting around the world casting his experienced eye on a human, or a horse, pinpointing the failures in movement and swiftly correcting them. 

Meet Inge, our coach par excellence, teaching is firmly engrained in her DNA. You can mostly find her at home in Belgium, but she can also be spotted giving clinics abroad.  

 

Inge’s love for horses started early on in her childhood. Whilst she enjoys riding herself, she quickly realised that her calling was to share her experience and knowledge, including biomechanics of horses and riders, with others. 

 

So what better than to embark on a coaching career? And that’s exactly what she’s been doing for no less than three decades now, bringing out the best in show jumping and dressage riders alike.

 

At the same time she has specialised in preparing the horses themselves for their dressage and jumping careers. 

 

During her coaching adventure Inge has teamed up with the likes of Nelson Pessoa, An Vanstappen and Bertrand Liegard.
